Ideally, you'll book your newborn's session several months in advance, so that (if all goes according to delivery plan) we can meet in my studio 7-10 days after baby comes. Unlike typical sessions with a precise start and end time, I build in a time cushion around our newborn session because we operate on their schedule; usually not difficult since at this age, their schedule consists primarily of eating and sleeping. An ideal session is about an hour and a half, and allows us time to have pictures on three or four backdrops. I have a variety of posing props, wraps, and backdrops, but if you have an idea you'd like us to create, I'm happy to consider adding to my inventory. Please share your creative vibes!

Session Location
Newborn sessions are unique from other in many ways, but especially regarding props, equipment and lighting that is necessary to photograph your baby professionally as well as safely. My space that we use to meet those needs is designed specially for your newborn, but understandably, you may decide you'd like me to come to your home instead. I am happy to bring everything to you and set up our "studio" in your home, for an added fee of $250.
